Acceptable Use
By using Kevilex, operated by Kathekon AB, you agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose: learning Ancient Greek through reading authentic texts.
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or its systems
- Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
- Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the platform
Intellectual Property
The Kevilex platform, including its design, code, and original content, is the intellectual property of Kathekon AB. Texts imported by users remain the property of their respective rights holders.
You retain ownership of any content you import into the platform. By importing content, you represent that you have the right to use it for personal educational purposes.
Limitation of Liability
Kevilex is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Kathekon AB does not guarantee the accuracy of dictionary definitions, lemmatization results, or AI-generated explanations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kathekon AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Supporting Kevilex
Kevilex offers an optional monthly Support subscription (“Support”), operated by Kathekon AB, org. no. 559227-1240, Krukmakargatan 33A, Lgh 1301, 118 51 Stockholm, Sweden, email kevin@kevilex.com.
- What Support includes. Current Support benefits are described on the Support page on kevilex.com. Benefits may change over time; we will give reasonable advance notice of material changes.
- Amount and billing. You choose your monthly amount within the range shown at checkout (currently USD 3 to USD 1000). The amount is shown before you confirm and is billed monthly in US dollars until you cancel. Your bank may apply currency conversion.
- Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.). Kathekon AB does not receive or store your full card details.
- Changing your amount. You can change your monthly amount at any time from Settings on kevilex.com. The new amount applies to future billing periods.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Right of withdrawal (ångerrätt). As a consumer entering a distance contract you have a 14-day right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance Contracts Act (lag (2005:59) om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokaler). To exercise it within 14 days of starting Support, send any clear statement to that effect to kevin@kevilex.com; we will refund the contribution charged in that period.
- Not tax-deductible. Kathekon AB is not a registered charity; Support payments are not tax-deductible.
- Changes to these terms. We may update these Support terms; we will give reasonable advance notice and any change applies only to future billing periods.
- Governing law and disputes. Support is governed by Swedish law. As a consumer you may refer a dispute to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN, arn.se) and you retain any mandatory rights under Swedish consumer law.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Kevilex at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users or the platform.
You may stop using Kevilex at any time. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, please contact us at the email address provided in our Privacy Policy.
